Free board week·Sep 14–21 only·Ends Sep 21
Build a PCB.
We'll pay for it.
Start any paid HeyPCB plan from September 14–21, design and publish your board, and we'll cover manufacturing up to your plan value. We handle the files, sourcing review, ordering, production follow-up, and shipping.
Your plan becomes a real-hardware budget.
This is not usage credit. It is the maximum PCB manufacturing amount HeyPCB pays directly on one approved board.
Four steps.
Start a plan.
Begin any paid HeyPCB subscription from September 14–21. Your plan sets the maximum manufacturing amount we cover.
Build your PCB.
Use Inky or the manual editor to finish the schematic and layout. Run the checks and source the parts you want assembled.
Publish it.
Publish or update the board in Circuit World during the event. Publishing enters the Hardware Challenge automatically.
Send it to us.
Choose the published board below and add a shipping address. We review the BOM, prepare the order, and take it from there.
After you submit
We do the manufacturing work.
You keep designing. We turn the approved snapshot into an order and keep the process moving.
Manufacturing review
We inspect the published snapshot, BOM coverage, board outline, and available manufacturing evidence.
Files and sourcing
We prepare the board-house package, close ordinary sourcing gaps with you, and get the final quote.
Ordering and production
We place the approved order, coordinate the fabrication and assembly process, and follow it through production.
Delivery
We arrange shipment to the address in your request and put tracking in your request when the carrier provides it.

The details
Clear before you build.
The promotion is simple; manufacturing is physical. These are the boundaries we can actually enforce and fulfill.
- Who qualifies
- One request per HeyPCB account that starts a new paid Starter, Pro, Max, or Ultra subscription during September 14–21, 2026. Existing subscriptions that began before the event do not qualify.
- Which board qualifies
- One board you own and designed with HeyPCB, published or updated in Circuit World during the event. The published snapshot is the manufacturing source; private edits made afterwards are not included unless you publish an update and resubmit before fulfillment begins.
- The Hardware Challenge
- Publishing during the open challenge normally enters the board automatically. Submitting this manufacturing request guarantees the selected board is your active Hardware Challenge entry and replaces any other entry you had. The challenge has its own rules and prize.
- What HeyPCB covers
- HeyPCB covers the manufacturer-approved PCB fabrication, ordinary assembly, and sourced component cost up to the plan cap recorded on the request. The cap is not cash, account credit, or a reimbursement for an order placed elsewhere.
- If the quote is over the cap
- We will contact you before ordering. We can look at quantity, board specifications, assembly choices, or an approved overage. Nothing above the cap is charged automatically.
- BOM and manufacturability
- The on-page estimate is indicative, not a final quote. Missing part prices, unavailable components, DRC/ERC findings, unusual stackups, panelization, controlled impedance, or other board-house requirements can require changes before ordering.
- Shipping
- HeyPCB arranges delivery to the submitted address. Import duties, taxes, restricted destinations, and carrier exceptions are not manufacturing cost and may need separate handling. We will contact you before creating any extra obligation.
- Timing and changes
- Submit by September 21, 2026 · 11:59 PM PT. You may update the board or address until the request is approved for ordering. Parts availability and production schedules vary; we show the request status but do not promise a delivery date before a manufacturer accepts the job.
