Room 02 · Voice wristband · Iris Assistant, Inc. (Persona)

Persona Band,rebuilt.

A screenless wristband for Persona, an AI agent you message and talk to. Two mics, a speaker and a light ring in a small aluminium pod.

The goal

A voice band built from the published spec sheet: two mics, a speaker, a light ring, a mute that cuts the mics, and three days on a charge.

Caution

Not shipping yet: the maker takes pre-orders and says it ships in December 2026, and that the final design may differ. Every fact below is the maker's claim; nobody has taken one apart.

What nobody has said in public yet. Each one is a question the room answers by building.

  • Everything inside: the processor, the radio, the battery's capacity and the pod's dimensions.
  • Whether headphones pair to the band directly, which would need Bluetooth Classic or LE Audio on it, or through the phone.
  • How the dock connects to the pod.
  • Any certification filing. None was found under the maker's name.

Six milestones.

In order. Each one is reached when its last line is true of the board.

  1. 01

    Dock and charge.

A dock with spring pins and USB-C, a cell sized for three days of use, and a charger that fills it in 30 minutes without cooking it.

Done whenA full charge in 30 minutes with the cell's temperature logged, and a measured three days on one charge.

  2. 02

    Radio.

A Bluetooth LE SoC, with LE Audio if the band is to talk to headphones itself.

Done whenThe pod streams voice to a phone and back.

  3. 03

    Voice.

Two mics with voice-activity detection in place of a wake word, a speaker and its amplifier.

Done whenA sentence spoken across a room is captured and a reply is heard.

  4. 04

    Light and mute.

An addressable LED ring under a light guide, and a mute that switches the mics' power off rather than ignoring them.

Done whenWith mute on, the mic rail measures zero.

  5. 05

    Storage.

A local buffer sized for two days of use without the phone.

Done whenTwo days of captured audio survive with the phone away.

  6. 06

    Pod and strap.

A curved pod with strap lugs and a magnetic clasp, built in the Product view.

Done whenThe board, cell and speaker fit, and the packaging check is clean.

Room rules.

For everyone on the board. The board is shared, so most of them are about the others.

A spec-driven roomThis room
There is no unit to measure until the band ships. Build to the published numbers, and mark every guess as a guess in the board's notes.
One board
Everyone builds the same project. Don't duplicate it to work alone; work here, where the others can see it.
Your own thread
Talk to Inky in a chat thread of your own. A new message in a thread can stop the turn already running there.
One long job at a time
An autoroute or a long Inky turn holds the board. Tell the others before you start one.
Undo is shared
The board has one history for everyone. Pressing undo twice takes back a teammate's last edit, so look before you press.
Inky runs on your account
The board is shared; your usage is not. Each person's Inky turns count against their own plan.
Public information only
Work from what the maker published, regulatory filings and open references. No leaked documents, no copied firmware, no logos.
The case needs a paid plan
Every room's last milestone is built in the Product view, which comes with every paid plan and not with the trial. Members on the trial can do every other milestone.

Start from.

Open work that gets the room past a blank board. Check each licence before copying from it.
